Alsajjad Pharma is among the leading and fastest-growing pharmaceutical distribution and marketing companies in Yemen. The journey began in 2015 with a group of pharmacies in the capital, Sana'a. The group achieved significant success and, by 2017, expanded by launching several new pharmacies in additional provinces, including Al Hudaydah, Ibb, and Hajjah.
This expansion set the stage for the establishment of the first wholesale sales point in 2019, which marked the creation of a comprehensive wholesale sales and distribution network in Al Hudaydah province, catering to a diverse clientele, including hospitals, tenders, and the broader medical sector. These achievements culminated in the founding of Alsajjad Pharma in 2020. The company commenced its import operations through strategic partnerships with both local and international entities, managing the purchase of full import quantities, marketing and promotional activities, and sales to clients in the medical sector, while simultaneously establishing its importing division.
